Society

Overview

Social challenges in Türkiye stem not only from economic inequalities, but also from unfair access to opportunities, discrimination, and weakening social ties. A decline in social trust increases tensions between different communities and makes it harder to build a shared future.

The proposals in this section aim to strengthen the principle of equal citizenship for all, increase social inclusion, and ensure the state fulfils its responsibilities more effectively in combating discrimination, empowering women, and reducing social risks. The goal is to build a social structure in which individuals—regardless of origin, gender, or living conditions—can live with dignity and security.
